Keep going tumblefluffs!

Alright tumblefluffs, listen up!

Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
Calvin Coolidge
30th president of US (1872 – 1933

That right there is how you will get your dreams a done! I’ve met authors/creators/businessmen and more who’ve all admitted they weren’t the best writers, minds, whatever, when they were starting out. But…they stuck with it. They learned over the years. They’re still learning. They’re still not the best but that doesn’t matter. They don’t stop.

Those people are making livings doing what they love. And every year they are making progress. That’s what it’s about. Progress! Just keep going. Things will solve themselves as you do. Or, you’ll learn how to solve them. That’s life. It doesn’t get better. You do! You do!

I know some extremely talented authors who will not, do not, finish their works. Who do not go all the way to the end in publishing. It’s sad. But, no one reads the unfinished, unpublished manuscript. (Their stuff is not on wattpad either. I mean unpublished anywhere!) It’s the athelete who has talent but doesn’t train. Awesome. You can be naturally excellent but the person writing or whatever everyday, pushing themselves, will pass on and achieve something awesomesaucey.

That’s you. You all write, write the most and best you can while balancing different lives. You all walk different paths, but keep on walking. You will accomplish awesome stuff.

Heck, I’m only on book two! There are some nanos here on book umpteenth! Idk where I’ll be in five years or on my fifth, even tenth book.

But it will be cool to find out. Keep writing.

Haters gonna hate. Let them potate.

“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.”— Albert Einstein

Remember this. You’re going to have naysayers and doubters, some will be close to home. You’re great for pursuing something you love, regardless of the outcomes and tangible rewards or lack thereof. You’re choosing to push boundaries physically and mentally. That’s brave. Your stories may be crazy, far fetched, but so what? They’re stories. Fiction. Fun. Write them. Someone will always have something negative to say. In the end, there will always be more people who will have something positive to say. A lot of novels get trashed.

A lot of people make fun of fifty shades of gray. But you know what? It still is selling well, and, the people who hate it, ignore it and don’t support it. It’s fans support it. It has over 66,000 reviews and a 4 star rating.

There is something in people that makes them WANT to support you, your art, give them the chance to. Make your art how you want.

“If being an egomaniac means I believe in what I do and in my art or music, then in that respect you can call me that… I believe in what I do, and I’ll say it.” ? John Lennon

You’re not an egomaniac for loving what you do. For choosing to do what you love. Believe in it. Make it. That’s what every successful creator has done.

“So many people along the way, whatever it is you aspire to do, will tell you it can’t be done. But it all it takes is imagination. You dream. You plan. You reach.” Michael Phelps
