Remember this. You’re going to have naysayers and doubters, some will be close to home. You’re great for pursuing something you love, regardless of the outcomes and tangible rewards or lack thereof. You’re choosing to push boundaries physically and mentally. That’s brave. Your stories may be crazy, far fetched, but so what? They’re stories. Fiction. Fun. Write them. Someone will always have something negative to say. In the end, there will always be more people who will have something positive to say. A lot of novels get trashed.
