“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.”— Albert Einstein

Remember this. You’re going to have naysayers and doubters, some will be close to home. You’re great for pursuing something you love, regardless of the outcomes and tangible rewards or lack thereof. “If being an egomaniac means I believe in what I do and in my art or music, then in that respect you can call me that… I believe in what I do, and I’ll say it.” ? John Lennon

You’re not an egomaniac for loving what you do. For choosing to do what you love. Believe in it. Make it. That’s what every successful creator has done.
